Imagine finishing another evening of talking about dinner, tomorrow's plans, and what needs doing around the house. There is something else you want to say: “I miss spending time with you.” But you hesitate. You are unsure how to explain the distance you feel, or how your partner will hear it.

Yesi gives you a place to begin that conversation. It is an AI relationship coach for couples, with individual voice or text sessions, guided conversations together, and practical exercises to follow up on what you discuss. You can begin on your own and invite your partner when they are ready. How Yesi works

Start with what you can put into words

Your first conversation with Yesi can begin with an unfinished thought. In the example above, you might say:

“We talk every day, but I miss feeling close. I want to bring it up, and I don't know where to start.”

In an individual session, you can write or speak about what is bothering you. Start with a recent moment and what you wish your partner understood. Yesi's individual sessions

Try asking yourself:

  1. What happened that I want to talk about?
  2. What did that moment mean to me?
  3. What would I like to ask my partner?

Use these questions with Yesi or on your own to work out what you want to ask for. For our imagined evening, that might be: “I miss spending time with you. Could we keep one evening free this week?”

Yesi's introduction session lets you begin individually. The first introduction is free; continuing sessions require a premium subscription. App Store details

Individual messages are not shown to your partner. Session summaries can be shared, and messages in a joint session are visible to both of you. Yesi also uses service providers, including AI providers, to process session content. Privacy details

Make room for your partner's perspective

When you want to invite your partner, you can connect through Yesi using an invitation code. They have their own individual session before you move into a guided conversation together. Yesi's session flow

In this example, an invitation might sound like: “I miss our time together. I've been trying Yesi to think it through. Would you like to try it too? You can start on your own.”

Your partner can decide whether they want to participate. They may also describe the situation differently. In our example, one person might miss spontaneous evenings together while the other feels that planning meals and keeping the household running is a way of showing care.

In a shared session, Yesi guides the discussion with prompts for both partners. The App Store example below shows the app asking each person about their experience. See the shared-session preview

Try a relationship exercise together

Yesi suggests couples communication exercises based on the themes you discuss together. Its App Store preview shows one example: a phone-free evening conversation, with a way to mark the activity as completed. Yesi's exercise preview

For the couple in our example, a useful next step might be choosing one evening to spend time together, then talking afterward about how it felt.

If you have something you want to talk about, your first step can be putting it into words.
